Nobel Peace Prize for Murderers

Recently Nobel Prize Committee revealed the name of all candidates of the 1964 Nobel Peace Prize. After I saw the names I was so thankful that the committee was smart enough to choose Martin Luther King Jr. as the winner, because some of those names bring up a serious concern that how they could get there to be nominated. I will review a few of those names:
Haile Selassie I, Emperor of Ethiopia:
Everyone who has followed the events on the late 20 century must be familiar with this name. Selassie was the Emperor of Ethiopia 1930 to 1974. During the World War II, after the occupation of the country by Benito Mussolini's Fascist regime he set up his headquarters at Desse in Wollo province and issued his mobilization order on 3 October 1935. He came back to the country after World War Second and established his dictatorship. He believed that he was the offspring of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. He and his supporters had called him, son of the god. and The God of all ages.
In the early 1960s when students began to protest against his policies, Selassie ordered to crack down on any protests against him, which resulted in many students killed and many more imprisoned.

Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, Shah of Iran
He was the king of Iran and strong ally of the United States. He called himself the nominee of god on the earth as well and the person who has the power of control of people's lives and desires. He established a dictatorship in Iran especially after coming back to power through a coup by the great help from the United States. during 1960s student protests began in Iran in the result of his administration brutality and the policy that made Iran under the control of other countries especially America. He ordered to crack down on any protests against his kingdom, which resulted in tens of thousands dead, many missing and prisons full of protesters.
Here is the irony, these two, both kings, both supporters of the western policies in the region and both "Sons of The God!" has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize at the same year that both were guilty of suppressing people in their country and ordering to kill and imprison people who wanted something better than a son of the god for their country.
