About me

My works take a critical view of social, political and cultural issues. In my works, I deconstruct the universal human conditions through war, disasters, social encounters, etc. Having engaged subjects as diverse as the social and political movements, history, philosophy and modern design, my work reproduces familiar visual signs, arranging them into new conceptually layered pieces.
Human is the center of my works and the circumstances, which challenge his/her beliefs, ideology and world or domestic views. My works also use symbolism as an international communication device. The symbols and signs provide clues to content and interpretation.
While I use a variety of materials and processes in each piece, my methodology is consistent. Although there are no definite similarities between the different articles they are linked by recurring formal concerns and through the subjectivity vs. objectivity of human life.
Each piece often consists of multiple situations, often in a range of different circumstances or/and cultures, grouped around specific themes and meanings. During research and production, new areas of interest arise and lead to the next body of my work.
